Description
We are seeking a skilled SCM System Support Analyst to provide technical, analytical, and operational support to internal customers in Supply Chain and other departments across Southern Company.
The successful candidate will have a focus on supporting systems used across Procurement, Contracts, and Category Management, including Maximo, Smart by GEP, GEP Quantum, EZMax, and other Supply Chain tools and solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing functional and technical expertise in the use of Maximo, Smart by GEP, and GEP Quantum
- Data analysis using SQL, Access, PowerBI, Power Pivot, SharePoint, and other standard end-user tools
- Participating in Maximo Center of Excellence on outage regression testing and integration testing with JETS, TEAMS, and EZMax
- Managing Maximo Item information in support of Data Standardization
- Generating and maintaining training documentation and providing training classes for new employees or on new functionality
- Participating on Southern Company project teams in support of system implementations, upgrades, and initiatives
- Seeking opportunities for process and system improvements
- Participating on the Supply Chain Technology Leadership Team and System Governance Teams as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related area
- Experience in Supply Chain Management or a related area
- Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, SQL, Access, and other database and reporting tools
- Maximo, GEP Quantum, and Supply Chain tools and solutions experience
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Procurement and Inventory Management practices and policies
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
