Manufacturing Engineer, New Product Introduction (NPI), Sentry

Anduril Industries' Sentry Manufacturing team is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with strong NPI experience. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in New Product Introduction (NPI) to transition electromechanical products from prototype to high-volume production.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize design for manufacturability/assembly and supply chain scalability
• Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes
• Lead and coordinate projects to install new manufacturing systems
• Leverage automation and integrated workflows to streamline manufacturing processes
• Develop process flows and write documentation required for successful manufacturing at scale
• Work with contract manufacturers and travel to suppliers as needed
• Contribute to end-customer hardware mechanical or electrical design
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments

Requirements:

• Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science
• 5+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware
• Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in configuration management and change control process
• Must be a U.S. Person

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated success in scaling product testing and production
• Hands-on experience with software and firmware flashing or end-of-line testing and troubleshooting
• Experience with large-scale high-mix manufacturing
• Prior experience working with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, or Oracle
