Description
We are seeking a Senior SoC Architect to join our elite team of around 10 employees in the NIC and DPU division. As a hardware architect, you will define the architecture of NVIDIA's next-generation NIC and DPU products, working closely with cross-functional teams including software, ASIC design, verification, physical design, and platform teams to enhance performance and debug.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the NIC microarchitecture across all aspects and serve as a source of information for design and verification engineers.
- Collaborate with GPU and CPU teams to build cutting-edge systems.
- Define the implementation of sophisticated features in our next products, balancing architectural requirements with backend, execution, and design considerations.
- Help define the Plan of Record (POR) for our NIC and DPU product line by understanding system requirements.
- Address complex Full-Chip correctness and performance issues that require cross-unit understanding of the chip.
- Work with board and package design teams to understand design limitations such as power, di/dt, temperature, and signal integrity.
- Thoroughly understand SoC flows, PCIe, Ethernet, InfiniBand, and NvLink protocols.
Requirements:
- B.Sc./M.Sc in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
- Excellent academic grades.
- At least 5 years of experience in ASIC design, microarchitecture, architecture, or performance.
- A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Verilog/VHDL.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a passion for solving logical issues.
- Excellent debug skills.
- Ability to manage complex activities involving multiple interfaces and teams.
- Good communication skills.
