Senior Security Engineer, Enterprise Security

Discord is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Security Engineer to join its security team. The successful candidate will implement and maintain Discord's enterprise environment, focusing on security and privacy.

The role involves:

• Designing and implementing security measures to protect company data
• Partnering with the Detection & Response team to maintain visibility into enterprise access, networks, and devices
• Deploying and managing security tools across Discord's corporate infrastructure
• Establishing security standards for strong protection and smooth workflows
• Developing and delivering security awareness training for employees
• Shaping and enforcing Discord's IT and security policies
• Building secure environments using modern principles like 'secure by design' and 'zero-trust' network architecture
• Fostering a security-conscious culture by guiding employees on data protection best practices
• Collaborating cross-functionally with IT, Engineering, Workplace, and other teams to achieve security objectives

Requirements include:

• 3+ years of experience in an Enterprise Security role as a senior individual contributor or lead
• 3+ years of experience programming in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Rust)
• Experience securing, monitoring, and managing Identity and Access Management systems
• Deep understanding of data security in enterprise environments
• Experience working in 'zero-trust' network architecture environments
• Experience deploying and managing Mobile Device Management, Endpoint Detection and Response, and device trust tooling
• Knowledge and practical application of IT security best practices

The role offers a salary range of $196,000 to $220,500 + equity + benefits, with relocation assistance potentially available.
