Description
The Ads Data Management Platform team is seeking Applied Scientists to elevate the quality of User Identity graph as it scales across all MAI surfaces including copilot driving measurable impact in ads personalization, audience targeting, and measurement, and unlocking richer user insights across Microsoft Advertising.
As an Applied Data Scientist, you will play a key role in driving our data strategy by designing and implementing statistical models and data driven experiments. You will ensure the integrity, reliability and quality of large scale datasets while building predictive models and analytical frameworks that inform product development and unlock new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Gain expertise in building identity graphs including applicable research techniques.
- Review business requirements and incorporate research to meet business goals.
- Provide strategic direction for the kinds of data used to solve problems and apply deep subject matter knowledge to support business impact.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related experience.
- OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience.
- OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years related experience.
- OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience.
- 3+ years experience conducting research as part of a research program.
- 1+ year(s) experience developing and deploying live production systems.
- Experience with developing graph based identity models to perform cross device user stitching.
