Senior Systems Software Engineer, Semiconductor Systems Inspection

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer to develop AI products for semiconductor analysis. The role involves creating production-ready models and inference pipelines for semiconductor manufacturing projects, focusing on computer vision, multimodal AI, anomaly detection, model compression, and deployment optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and prototype AI system architectures for semiconductor defect inspection.
• Advance WFM capabilities for semiconductor inspection, including multimodal representation learning and model adaptation.
• Integrate and enhance existing computer vision and multimodal inspection workflows.
• Design agentic inspection flows for air-gapped fab environments.
• Improve model quality and fab decision support using semiconductor metrology and inspection context.
• Address noisy, limited, and shifting fab data.
• Convert research into customer-ready semiconductor inspection products.
• Partner with teams to define roadmap priorities for next-generation semiconductor AI inspection systems.

Requirements:

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in deep learning, machine learning, computer vision, or applied AI.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with modern deep learning frameworks.
• Experience with foundational world models in computer vision.
• Familiarity with self-supervised, few-shot, weakly supervised, unsupervised, or domain adaptation approaches.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with semiconductor inspection, industrial visual inspection, or manufacturing AI.
• Knowledge of NVIDIA software and deployment tools.
• Experience building end-to-end pipelines for production settings.
