Description

Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Test Technician to join their team at their Quonset, RI facility.

The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge technology aimed at advancing subsea robotics, specifically for their Dive-XL.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and work alongside other test technicians
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and operations teams on pressure vessel assembly and testing
  • Apply advanced knowledge and skills in hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and repair
  • Prioritize work activities to achieve on-time delivery goals
  • Provide training and support for new operator onboarding
  • Perform configuration tasks, build, test, and integrate complex electrical and mechanical assemblies
  • Execute detailed sub-system End-of-Line (EOL) tests
  • Perform incoming quality inspection testing on PCBA's
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronics, and integrated circuits
  • Develop, document, and improve the pressure vessel production process
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, perform part inspections, and follow safety best practices
  • Support management of tools, equipment, and lab supplies
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in electronics and testing in relevant fields such as robotics, defense, or aerospace
  • Solid background in electronics/software working in relevant fields
  • Experience with programming/testing various sensors, actuators, and electrical components
  • Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, SHELL
  • Experience with computer hardware communication protocols
  • Well-versed in complex electromechanical systems
  • Prior experience leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience in preparing and executing test procedures
  • Familiarity with electrical engineering principles and concepts
  • Experience working from technical documentation, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with basic electrical test equipment
  • Commitment to high-quality products and strong sense of personal accountability
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in sub-sea robotics
  • Experience working with electrical systems up to 400VDC
  • Subsea cable splicing or fabrication experience
  • Experience with pressure vessels and/or pressure systems/equipment
  • IPC 610 and/or 620 Certification
  • Experience with low-volume/high-mix manufacturing

Salary: $32-$42.31 USD per hour
