Description
Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Test Technician to join their team at their Quonset, RI facility.
The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge technology aimed at advancing subsea robotics, specifically for their Dive-XL.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and work alongside other test technicians
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and operations teams on pressure vessel assembly and testing
- Apply advanced knowledge and skills in hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and repair
- Prioritize work activities to achieve on-time delivery goals
- Provide training and support for new operator onboarding
- Perform configuration tasks, build, test, and integrate complex electrical and mechanical assemblies
- Execute detailed sub-system End-of-Line (EOL) tests
- Perform incoming quality inspection testing on PCBA's
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronics, and integrated circuits
- Develop, document, and improve the pressure vessel production process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, perform part inspections, and follow safety best practices
- Support management of tools, equipment, and lab supplies
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in electronics and testing in relevant fields such as robotics, defense, or aerospace
- Solid background in electronics/software working in relevant fields
- Experience with programming/testing various sensors, actuators, and electrical components
- Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, SHELL
- Experience with computer hardware communication protocols
- Well-versed in complex electromechanical systems
- Prior experience leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience in preparing and executing test procedures
- Familiarity with electrical engineering principles and concepts
- Experience working from technical documentation, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with basic electrical test equipment
- Commitment to high-quality products and strong sense of personal accountability
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sub-sea robotics
- Experience working with electrical systems up to 400VDC
- Subsea cable splicing or fabrication experience
- Experience with pressure vessels and/or pressure systems/equipment
- IPC 610 and/or 620 Certification
- Experience with low-volume/high-mix manufacturing
Salary: $32-$42.31 USD per hour
