Site Driver

We are seeking a Site Driver to join our team at our MBT facility in Barrow-in-Furness, with a salary of £33,637 per annum.

As a Site Driver, you will be responsible for the day-to-day change-over of containers to maintain optimal productivity, ensuring recycling and diversion targets are met. You will also ensure all skips, trailers, bins, and equipment are stored safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating HGV vehicles (ideally with RORO and forklift training)
• Maintaining a safe working environment and reporting any safety or environmental issues
• Working flexibly, including overtime and weekend work, with on-call availability for fire alarms
• Collaborating with the driving team to meet productivity targets

Essential criteria for this role include:

• HGV Class 1 or 2 license
• Team player with strong communication and organisational skills
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance
