VCARB F1 Team - Model Maker

We're seeking an experienced Model Maker to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a Model Maker, you will be responsible for assembling models, preparing parts and assemblies in line with our Aerodynamic program, and enhancing the car's performance.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the model shop staff and Aero department to develop our wind tunnel model and testing program
• Investigate new technologies and concepts for parts and procedures
• Communicate effectively with external groups to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Execute day-to-day tasks with attention to detail and manage timelines effectively
• Provide flexible attendance and a positive attitude to work
• Maintain good relationships with colleagues and support workers

Requirements:

• Previous automotive experience, ideally with engineering experience in F1
• Strong understanding of high-quality part manufacture and model assembly techniques
• Flexibility to work weekends and adjust to fluctuating demands and schedules
• Ability to scope tasks thoroughly and work effectively under pressure
• Willing attitude to help improve processes
