As a Physical Therapist, you will plan, organise and deliver physical therapy programs that help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities. You will conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease. You will utilise tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents
- Planning, organising and delivering physical therapy programs
- Utilising tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions
- Documenting client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation
- Establishing therapeutic plans and modifying them if necessary
- Educating clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home
You will have the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders. You will demonstrate documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirements.
This is a part-time position with a weekly schedule of 20 hours.
