Description

As a Specialist Know-How Transfer - Chemical Raw Materials, you will be responsible for the independent technical review, evaluation, and release of raw material requests from subsidiary companies within the global raw material introduction process, taking into account chemical requirements and global standards.

Your tasks will include close coordination with internal stakeholders such as the global R&D community, Global Procurement, Global Master Data Management, and others.

You will conduct structured research and technical evaluation of raw materials, including their chemical composition, properties, and potential applications, using internal and external data sources such as test reports and technical data sheets.

You will actively participate in projects related to formulation transfers and raw material introductions.

You will collect, validate, and coordinate raw material data for the calculation of the product carbon footprint in close cooperation with Global Sustainability.

You will identify digitalization potential and promote a modern, data-driven working style in the global context.

You will actively shape and optimize digital processes within the know-how transfer, particularly for the use and further development of digital tools (Power BI & SAP Fiori/S4HANA) to continuously improve the efficiency, transparency, and traceability of our master data and internal processes.

We are looking for a successful graduate in chemistry, chemical engineering, economic chemistry, or a comparable chemical-technical course of study, preferably with experience in the laboratory or R&D environment, ideally as a chemist or in comparable roles in the EHS/Products Safety area.

You should have a high affinity for digitalization and the willingness to actively optimize and make processes more efficient.

You should be proficient in the safe use of Excel and Power BI and have experience with SAP, preferably in Fiori and S/4HANA environments, particularly in the context of raw material data.

You should have a proactive, self-initiating, structured, and meticulous working style.

You should have analytical thinking combined with a high data affinity, strong quality awareness, and attention to detail.

You should have strong communication skills and the ability to convince across different hierarchical levels, stakeholders, and cultures, with experience in network/matrix organizations being desirable.

You should have very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
