Description

The Director, Operations Accounting Enablement will own the strategy, leadership, and scaling of the Company's fixed asset and inventory accounting functions. This role is central to strengthening financial controls, ensuring audit readiness, and enabling operational scalability as the business continues to grow.

This role requires a strong blend of technical accounting expertise, process and systems enablement, and cross-functional leadership to support a rapidly evolving organization.

The Director will serve as a key partner to Operations, Supply Chain, FP&A, IT, and external auditors, driving the design and implementation of best-in-class accounting processes, systems, and governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and operating SOX-compliant controls over fixed assets and inventory
  • Establishing capital expenditure approval, tracking, and reconciliation frameworks
  • Leading the transformation of the asset lifecycle and inventory accounting processes
  • Partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, FP&A, and IT to drive measurable improvements

The ideal candidate will have progressive accounting experience, including senior leadership roles overseeing fixed assets and/or inventory accounting in high-value or complex environments.

They will also have a proven track record of designing and operating SOX-compliant controls, establishing capital expenditure approval frameworks, and leading the transformation of asset lifecycle and inventory accounting processes.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have strong cross-functional partnership skills, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and a CPA and/or public accounting background.

The base salary range for this role is $165,000 to $242,000. The starting salary will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and the market location.
