Attorney Brand Enforcement Europe

We are seeking an Attorney Brand Enforcement Europe to join our team in Fuschl, Austria. As a Brand Enforcement Attorney, you will play a crucial role in protecting the Red Bull brand across selected European markets.

Job Summary: You will be responsible for enforcing Red Bull's trademark rights, handling diverse enforcement matters, and working closely with internal teams and external law firms to ensure consistent protection of our brand against infringement and unauthorized use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle opposition and cancellation proceedings in assigned European markets and regularly review relevant watch notices.
• Evaluate potential trademark infringements and initiate suitable legal actions to protect Red Bull's trademark rights.
• Manage cases related to product piracy, parallel imports, customs seizures, and associated litigation.
• Conduct independent smaller competition law proceedings and support the Head of Regional IP Brand Enforcement Europe in complex cases.
• Collaborate with external lawyers and law firms, review and revise legal documents, and develop legal recommendations.
• Implement brand enforcement and anti-counterfeit strategies in your areas of responsibility.

Requirements:

• Completed law degree with passed bar exam or comparable legal qualification.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in intellectual property as a lawyer or legal counsel.
• Fluent in German and English, with excellent legal writing and formulation skills in both languages.
• In-depth experience in trademark law and brand enforcement, ideally gained in a law firm or international corporate environment.
• Experience in representing and accompanying proceedings before courts, authorities, and customs offices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.
