Description
As a Development Engineer – Vehicle Dynamics (MBS), you will be responsible for developing and creating simulation models for vehicle dynamics and ride comfort. Your primary goal is to design and implement simulation models that accurately predict the behavior of vehicles under various conditions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the simulation models meet the required standards and are integrated into the development process.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and creating simulation models for vehicle dynamics and ride comfort
- Verifying and validating the simulation models using test data
- Performing static and dynamic analyses of the complete vehicle, including control systems
- Processing and evaluating the results from virtual and physical experiments
- Optimizing vehicle components with a focus on driving dynamics and ride comfort
- Developing new methods for optimal vehicle tuning and their integration into the development process
- Cooperating with international project teams
- Working on MBS-related development projects
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, or aerospace engineering. You should also have excellent knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and MS Office, as well as experience with multibody simulations. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in German is an advantage.
If you are a highly motivated and well-organized individual with a passion for vehicle dynamics and ride comfort, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
