Description
Work as an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse and become part of the HCA HealthONE team, dedicated to caring for others like family.
The role involves providing patient care through the development and implementation of ongoing systems and practices that promote and maintain quality nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Radiology Department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients for procedures, including checking vital signs, medications, NPO status, lab results, and medical history
- Inserting and removing intravenous lines, administering conscious sedation drugs and other medications
- Monitoring patient patterns and vital signs during procedures
- Overseeing patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Providing post-procedure monitoring, including observing for signs and symptoms of complications
Requirements:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse License with BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification
- 2-3 years of experience in a specialty unit (Critical Care, ED, PACU, or Radiology) or IR experience
- Ability to function independently, multi-task, and prioritize effectively
