Description
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Jamaica, Latin America. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and business-relevant financial reporting that supports effective decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key administrative processes at the country's level, maintaining high data quality in financial plans and monthly results
- Leverage global tools for reporting and planning
- Act as a strategic partner to the Country Manager and Distribution Partner team, ensuring reliable data collection and alignment
- Provide first-level analytical support, actively engaging and constructively challenging budget owners to drive transparency and a clear understanding of the financial impact of business decisions
Key areas of responsibility:
Reporting
- Distribute monthly financial information to all budget owners
- Prepare the monthly country update PPT
- Create ADHOC reports requested by the country team or INTCASA team regarding financial or administrative information
- Support the country team with their monthly presentations by providing the necessary financial information and preparing accurate financial slides
Controlling
- Review and correct any deviations to the group controlling and accounting guidelines
- Develop overall country efficiencies and maximize return on investments
- Ensure that all internal controls and policies are applied in the countries
Planning
- Lead the planning calendar by coordinating with the country team and providing necessary support to ensure data quality is accurate
- Upload all planning data into BI, ensuring data accuracy and meeting due dates
Business Support
- Support functional heads and budget owners to better understand and become familiar with their budgets and actual spends
- Develop relationships with relevant stakeholders and become a key point of contact for discussions in the country
- Provide administrative support as the first point of contact between the country team and the Distribution Partner
Administrative
- Manage the office budget for facilities and approve any extraordinary expenses when needed
- Coordinate local purchases with the local team across all islands
- Control, coordinate, and approve all office purchases, including employee assets
- Support the local team in local purchases
- Be responsible for the local corporate fleet, including purchase, control, insurance, and maintenance
- Coordinate and approve airfare tickets for the team, ensuring compliance with travel policies
- Oversee asset control for Red Bull staff across the Caribbean islands
- Support the HR team with the onboarding of new employees, medical insurance management, and act as the first point of contact for legal cases in the country
- Develop relationships with DP teams to ensure local purchases and other administrative processes are done efficiently
Team Meetings Coordination
- Plan and organize general team meetings for the Caribbean team, such as kick-offs and engagement workshops, using the best possible vendors while complying with the established budget
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budget management within a multinational company
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI), Hyperion, and/or SAP is a significant advantage
- Ability to gather, analyze, and present financial information in a relevant and meaningful way
- Strong IT skills, particularly with spreadsheets and databases
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Good organization and time management skills
- People-oriented and results-driven with excellent interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and confidentiality with strong work ethics
- Proficiency in MS Office, with emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel
- Business or finance qualification (or similar) is preferred
- English language proficiency
