Description
As a Commissioning Engineer PLC, you will work with the global community to align interfaces and solutions with other engineering disciplines. Your responsibilities will include preparing PLC software according to PLC standards, performing IO-checks, configuration of PLC hardware, and testing of interfaces and automated processes during pre-commissioning and commissioning of AVL PLC systems.
You will also perform tests according to test case lists and checklists, ensuring testbed safety according to a Safety Matrix by a complete and repeatable test procedure. Additionally, you will support continuous improvement of standards by providing constant feedback and provide documentation created in parallel to the commissioning process.
To be successful in this role, you will require a university degree in a technical field such as automation, electronics, or computers, and at least one year of experience in PLC programming. Knowledge of SIEMENS PLCs and HMIs is considered a plus, as well as skilled programming languages defined in IEC61131 and experience in safety PLC programming.
You will be willing to travel approximately 50-60% of the time and have good English knowledge. Results-oriented individuals who are skilled in all programming languages defined in IEC61131 and have experience in safety PLC programming are encouraged to apply.
