Physical Therapist - Outpatient

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Murray Co. Medical Center in Slayton. The successful candidate will work in an outpatient setting, providing physical therapy programs to help clients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.

As a Physical Therapist, you will conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients affected by injury or disease. You will also educate clients and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises to be continued at home.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $35.50 - $52.00 per hour. A $30,000 sign-on bonus is also available.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to help clients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
• Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients affected by injury or disease.
• Educate clients and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises to be continued at home.
• Document client information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans as needed.
• Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.

Requirements:

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
• When applicable, may require valid driver's license.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
