Product Education Engineer

Cursor is seeking a Product Education Engineer to bridge the gap between its AI coding tools and developer knowledge. This role involves creating technical learning libraries, high-quality demos, and leading workshops to help engineering organisations adopt AI coding tools effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Cursor's technical learning library, including code walkthroughs, tutorials, labs, workshops, and reference implementations.
• Build high-quality demos and workflow automations using Cursor.
• Lead workshops and technical deep dives to help engineering organisations adopt AI coding tools.
• Serve as a technical translation layer between Product and the field.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new capabilities ship with clear educational framing.
• Contribute to public technical content to help the broader developer community.
• Design learning experiences for various audiences.
• Experiment with new educational formats.
• Gather field feedback and measure adoption.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Field Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Consulting, technical enablement, or software engineering at a developer tools or platform company.
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and AI coding tools.
• Active power user of AI coding tools.
• Experience delivering large-scale workshops or technical training.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Builder mindset with a bias toward experimentation.
