Senior System Software Engineer, GeForce NOW

We are seeking a full-stack engineer for our GeForce NOW team, focusing on crafting the future of Cloud Gaming and Local Gaming experiences. As a Senior System Software Engineer, you will play a significant part in guiding the technical excellence of our application tier in a multi-layer architecture.

GeForce NOW is NVIDIA's Cloud Gaming service that streams games at high quality to various devices. The NVIDIA App is a companion for PC gamers and creators, offering driver updates, a unified GPU control center, and recording tools.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high-performance applications for desktop and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with PM and design teams to define feature specifications and build next-generation products using frameworks like Angular & React.
• Work with operations to ensure reliability and scalability of features.
• Develop RESTful APIs with backend architects.
• Engage in web or mobile application development with languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Optimize front-end UI for consistent rendering across platforms.
• Develop complex, responsive native and web applications.
• Focus on maximizing performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Create front-end code templates using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON/XML, along with JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, AngularJS, React, and GruntJS.
• Participate in design reviews with Architects.

Requirements:

• B.E./MTech in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in end-user facing application development.
• Proven portfolio of cross-platform and scalable applications.
• Good interpersonal skills and experience presenting to technical and non-technical partners.
• Experience with RESTful web services.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration environments, application deployment, and web security.
• Experience with AWS platform deployment and monitoring.
• Familiarity with distributed source control systems like Git, Jenkins.
• Passion for user experience design and usability.
• Strong experience with Agile development methodology.
• Hands-on knowledge of application security.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based applications at scale.
• Knowledge of low-level networking or OS internals (Windows, Mac, Android).
• Demonstrated delivery of projects in previous roles.
