We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analysing large datasets to gain insights and improve our racing performance.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and process large datasets from various sources, including telemetry data, weather forecasts, and track conditions
• Develop and implement machine learning models to predict racing outcomes and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with our engineering team to integrate data-driven insights into our racing strategy
• Develop and maintain data visualisation tools to communicate insights to the team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning
• Work closely with our data engineer to ensure data quality and integrity

Requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or MATLAB
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data visualisation techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of SQL and database design
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
