Join our team as a Physical Therapist and play a vital role in helping clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities.
As a Physical Therapist, you will conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease. You will utilise tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards and document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation.
You will establish therapeutic plans and modify them if necessary, educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.
You will have the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders, and you will be expected to demonstrate documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirements.
You will also be responsible for participating in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society and Sanford Health, and you may be asked to supervise assistants, aides, and students as they provide client/patient/resident care, treatment, or other services.
Based on facility needs and assigned locations, you may focus on those receiving intervention in the post-acute, long term care and home health care environments.
