Description
As an AP & Employee Expense Specialist, you will be the primary owner of Mixpanel's accounts payable and employee expense programs. You will operate across Zip (AP) and Navan (T&E), bringing accuracy, timeliness, and analytical instinct to transactional work. Your responsibilities will include triaging and managing the AP inbox, owning the weekly payment run, monitoring and clearing the Navan flagged transaction queue, preparing monthly T&E flag trend analysis, and managing the physical card program.
We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in AP, expense management, or a related finance operations role. You should have working knowledge of domestic and international payment methods, currency structures, and common processing errors. Experience with procure-to-pay and T&E platforms (Zip & Navan; NetSuite a strong plus) is also required. Strong analytical skills and proactive communication style are essential.
Bonus points for familiarity with GL coding, accruals, or month-end close processes, and experience in a high-growth or SOX-adjacent environment.
