Senior Manager, Procurement

Airtable is seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement to lead and mature its strategic sourcing and vendor negotiation operations.

The successful candidate will inherit an established procurement function with a capable team and working operation. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading complex commercial negotiations for significant software, SaaS, infrastructure, cloud, AI, and professional services contracts
• Managing and maturing the vendor portfolio, rationalizing the supplier base, and building relationships for commercial leverage
• Partnering with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to build and maintain a forward-looking procurement pipeline
• Serving as the primary procurement partner to Engineering, IT, Finance, and Legal
• Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on strategic and large spend deals, procurement pipeline, and key metrics
• Coaching and developing a small team of procurement and sourcing specialists
• Driving process improvements, controls, and systems to increase team capacity and reduce manual overhead
• Leveraging AI tools to accelerate contract analysis, negotiation prep, and spend pipeline reporting

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8+ years of procurement experience with demonstrated depth in software, SaaS, cloud, and infrastructure deals
• A track record of leading high-stakes commercial negotiations independently
• Experience managing or developing procurement or sourcing professionals
• The ability to operate as a finance and business partner, understanding how procurement decisions affect budgets and planning cycles
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex situations into concise recommendations for a CFO-level audience
• Fluency with modern procurement tools and AI
