Senior Software Engineer

Stripe, a financial infrastructure platform, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. You will design and build tools that enable partner teams to interact more easily with the system, work with engineers to launch new products or features, and improve engineering standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build tools for easier system interaction
• Collaborate with engineers on product launches
• Develop, maintain, and debug APIs, services, and systems
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Create tools that reduce friction in meeting onboarding requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5 years of Software Engineering experience
• 5 years of experience in building software solutions at scale in Python, Ruby, Java, or similar
• Experience in making trade-offs between user experience and technical constraints, translating business requirements into software designs, debugging production issues, and building and maintaining production systems
