Description
Anduril Industries is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Technical Operations Engineer to join its team and support its Connected Warfare product line.
In this role, you will be the go-to person for both the hardware and software aspects of the system, working directly with customers in the field and remotely to ensure seamless integration and operation.
Your responsibilities will include providing end-to-end support for the Connected Warfare systems, pre-configuring systems and ensuring seamless integration with customer infrastructure, troubleshooting issues in real-time, managing both low-voltage and high-voltage electrical components, and administering and maintaining Linux systems across all of the company's products.
You will also configure and troubleshoot networking environments, including Cisco switch/router configurations, VLANs and routing.
As a Technical Operations Engineer, you will be required to have 3+ years of experience of strong problem-solving in unstructured environments at the interface of hardware, software, and networking, proficiency with Linux system administration, proficiency with containerised environments (Kubernetes, Docker), expertise of electrical systems, both low-voltage and high-voltage, and experience performing preventative maintenance on technical hardware in the field to ensure functionality, integrity and safety.
Additionally, you will need to be able to meet health and medical requirements in advance of deployments in accordance with DFARS 252.225-7040, DoDI 3020.41, and/or any additional requirements outlined by region or supporting force, as applicable.
You will also be required to travel to remote regions of the world for up to two months at a time, with up to 75% of the year spent travelling.
A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is also preferred, as well as a B.S. in computer science, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related technical field.
The salary range for this role is $113,000-$155,000 USD.
