This is a hybrid position, where you'll work both from home and from our Dearborn office. Therefore, you must live within a reasonable commuting distance from Dearborn, MI.

As a SAP Basis Technology Specialist, you'll perform classical and legacy SAP installations, SAP S/4 installations, upgrades, patches, applying support packages, system copies/refreshes, and installation of add-on software components. You'll also be responsible for daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of all SAP systems.

In addition, you'll work with vendors and partners to tune classical SAP and S/4 systems for optimal performance. You'll collaborate with other product teams to meet and maintain operational KPIs/SLAs. You'll participate in multi-landscape design solutions, architecture recommendations, and client strategies for continuous improvement.

You'll develop, implement, and execute SAP BASIS and HANA DB policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of SAP systems in support of the SAP applications. You'll provide support and guidance to other project and development teams during the build, test, and productive operation of project implementations.

You'll set up and configure Solution Manager Dashboards to monitor and administer SAP systems. You'll support NA EWM warehouses related to SAP infrastructure issues, such as printers, SLNet, Windows servers, and RF devices. You'll also support cloud initiatives, such as setting up or migrating existing on-prem SAP solutions.

Finally, you'll provide production support on a periodic 24x7 basis with on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field
  • 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • 7 years of experience with each of the following skills:

+ SAP landscapes and Support SLAs of the applications + Administration of SAP landscapes, monitoring, and resolving issues related to critical alerts + Performing legacy SAP installations, SAP S/4 installations, upgrades, patches, applying support packages, and system copies/refreshes + Supporting Solution Manager ChaRM cycles + Supporting EWM warehouse printer issues + EWM performance KPIs of various transactions + Supporting GCP landscape for EWM issues

Salary: $117,603.00 - $185,964.96 per year
