Distribution Analyst

We are seeking a Distribution Analyst to join our team in Dallas, Texas. As a Distribution Analyst, you will provide strategic analysis, standard reports, non-distribution support, point of sale (POS) management, and communication for the region, Vice President of Distribution (VPD), and Distributor Partner Managers (DPMs).

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Analysis and Business Planning:
• Analyze preliminary revenue and budget data for VPD approval
• Participate in planning cycles, including roll-up, plan-to-actual gap analyses, and progress reporting
• Validate Distributor Partner (DP) reporting accuracy
• Manage region forecasting and distribution cost budget analyses
• Oversee Point of Sale (POS) management

• Standard Reports and Processes:
• Validate invoices and direct Distributor Partners for clean-up
• Develop standard reports and implement continuous improvements
• Measure Phase 1 DP Management Project results
• Generate canned reports for various stakeholders
• Provide execution reporting for RBNA and VPD region reporting

• Support of Other Functions:
• Collaborate with headquarters, national accounts, and other regional functions
• Manage Regional National Account Survey Process

• Communication:
• Directly manage Distributor Partner invoicing with DP finance departments
• Coordinate with RBNA payment center
• Prepare VPD weekly updates and monthly sales meetings
• Monitor DP invoice payables aging and problem status

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in an analyst role within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
• Experience in facilitating working relationships with finance leads at Distributor Partners
• Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint; Circana data analytics experience is preferred
• Ability to convert analytics into insights
• Sales-oriented with understanding of sales drivers and connections between data and sales execution
• Good communication skills and high organizational abilities
• Understanding of core distribution roles and organization
• Knowledge of retail landscape (local accounts, regional accounts, and national accounts)
• Comfortable in a non-field role (e.g., 90% in office)
• Ability to work cross-functionally with RBNA, regions, and retailers
• Ability to work comfortably with IT
• High-level understanding of RBNA reporting technology and capabilities, and Circana
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage

What We Offer:

• Base salary range: $72,000 - $108,000 + cash incentives
• Travel: 10-20%
