Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will work on projects supporting teams designing and building aerospace structures using carbon fiber composite material systems. You will have direct exposure to engineers designing and analyzing composite structures in aerospace programs, and to technicians manufacturing those structures.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Receiving problem statements guidelines, requirements, and reporting milestones
  • Independently performing trade studies, designs, and generating solutions for approval
  • Executing the procurement of hardware as necessary to implement solutions
  • Testing, verifying, and demonstrating the effectiveness of your solutions

This is a paid, in-person, 12-week internship. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain hands-on experience in the field of manufacturing engineering.

To be eligible for this internship, you must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and be a rising senior at the time of the internship. You must also be a U.S. Person and be able to access Controlled Unclassified Information.
