The Senior Associate will play a critical role in assessing powered land and power access opportunities, supporting deal evaluation and contract execution, and coordinating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure power solutions align with CoreWeave’s technical, operational, and financial requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

Deal Evaluation & Financial Analysis
  • Lead detailed financial analysis and modeling for power and energy-related opportunities, including powered land, utility power access, and third-party power solutions.
  • Evaluate economics of power supply options, including utility service, self-build, and alternative or emerging power technologies.
  • Develop scenario analyses around pricing, timing, capacity, and risk to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare clear, data-driven investment memos, presentations, and materials for internal review by senior leadership.
Power & Energy Strategy
  • Assess power availability, interconnection paths, timelines, and constraints for new and existing data center markets.
  • Support evaluation of new power technologies and their applicability to CoreWeave’s load profile.
  • Partner with internal teams to align power strategy with deployment schedules and long-term growth plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (CoreWeave-Focused)
  • Work closely with Data Center Operations, Construction & Design, Corporate Finance, and Treasury to evaluate tradeoffs across cost, schedule, technical feasibility, and risk.
  • Translate technical and market inputs into financial and commercial implications to support decision-making.
  • Serve as a connective layer between technical, operational, and financial teams throughout deal lifecycle.
External Engagement & Contract Support
  • Support engagement with utilities, power developers, and infrastructure partners to evaluate solutions and advance deals.
  • Assist in structuring, reviewing, and executing commercial agreements, including Energy Supply Agreements and Capacity Service Agreements.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and internal stakeholders through diligence, contract execution, and post-signing handoff.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of experience in banking, venture or private equity with a focus on energy markets, infrastructure finance, power development, utilities, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong financial modeling and deal evaluation skills; comfort underwriting long-lived infrastructure assets.
  • Solid understanding of power markets, utility structures, and large-load energy consumers.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to clearly communicate complex analyses. Comfortable with using AI tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience with power-related commercial agreements such as ESAs, CSAs, PPAs, or similar contracts.
  • Exposure to data center infrastructure, hyperscale energy procurement, or large-scale real estate development.
  • Familiarity with emerging power technologies or non-traditional power solutions.
