Description
We're seeking a patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at Team Rehab, you'll evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with the ultimate goal of having them recover from injuries, manage pain, and regain mobility. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to help them recover from injury, manage pain, and restore mobility. Creating measurable, functional goals and adjusting plans of care as patients progress. Educating patients on treatment options, home exercises, and strategies to prevent re-injury. Supervising and guiding Techs during patient care setup and cleanup. Using evidence-based pain management techniques to improve function. Determining discharge timelines and providing patients with strategies for long-term success. Documenting evaluations, progress notes, and discharges accurately and on time. Achieving a reasonable level of productivity, which depends on the number of referrals and the type of patient presenting.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be passionate about patient care, have strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. You'll also need to stay current on best practices through in-house CEUs and continuing education.
