We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Delivery Loop to be part of our Developer Productivity Pillar. You’ll be directly responsible for how Webflow engineers build, test, and deliver value to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Drive implementation and maintenance of Webflow’s build system, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Oversee the configuration and management of multiple development environments, providing guidance to ensure consistency across teams and environments.
- Define and enforce development processes and best practices to improve efficiency and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Spearhead the deployment strategy for production environments, implementing robust rollback mechanisms and monitoring solutions.
- Mentor junior members of the DevOps team, fostering their growth and knowledge in DevOps principles and technologies.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize application performance and resource utilization in production environments.
- Stay current with emerging DevOps trends and technologies, evaluating and implementing new tools to enhance the development workflow.
- Participate in engineering citizenship activities such as co-authoring engineering blogs, strengthening and improving our hiring processes, and leading internal hackathon teams.
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
- Business-level fluency to read, write and speak in English
Nice to Have:
- Proven track record of successfully deploying and managing large-scale Node.js applications in production environments, utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and best practices for building resilient, scalable, and secure applications on AWS.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines tailored for Node.js projects, integrating automated testing and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Pulumi for managing cloud resources.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, providing support and guidance on DevOps practices.
