Okta is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Specialist to support the go-to-market strategy for the Public Sector. As a Senior Product Marketing Specialist, you will be an expert on the Public Sector audience, focused on federal.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a compelling storyteller, and a strong cross-functional leader. You will be responsible for defining messaging and positioning, creating compelling content, and enabling the sales team to succeed in the Public Sector market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and driving the go-to-market strategy for Okta's solutions in the Public Sector
- Creating clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging and positioning for the Public Sector audience
- Producing a variety of content, including presentations, datasheets, whitepapers, blog posts, and website copy
- Enabling the sales team through training and tools
- Maintaining expertise on the Public Sector market, including customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape
- Collaborating with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Acting as a spokesperson for Okta in the Public Sector
Requirements:
- 4+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in enterprise software, SaaS, or cybersecurity
- Deep understanding of the Public Sector market, including procurement processes and compliance requirements
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA is a plus
Okta offers a competitive salary range of $126,000-$172,000 USD for this position, depending on location, skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. Additional benefits include equity, bonus, health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave.
