Description

We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support our Manufacturing Operations and special projects as a Finance Business Partner. You will lead end-to-end financial management of strategic projects, implement new financial processes and controls in SAP, and provide financial analysis and insights to support operational decision-making.

Business Partnering & Performance Reporting

  • Lead monthly financial reporting for manufacturing operations, including actuals, variance analysis, and commentary.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing operations KPIs and dashboards.
  • Support the Director of Manufacturing with financial analysis and business case preparation.

Forecasting & Business Planning

  • Lead monthly forecasting process for manufacturing operations cost base.
  • Support annual business planning cycle, including budget preparation and scenario modelling.
  • Provide forward-looking financial insights to support operational decision-making.

Project Finance

  • Manage financial tracking and reporting for special projects.
  • Support business case development for special projects.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and reporting frameworks are in place.

SAP Process Implementation & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead implementation of new financial processes into SAP.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Support the wider Finance team in developing best-in-class financial systems.

Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Support

  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional teams with financial data analysis and insights.
  • Provide financial input to senior leadership on manufacturing operations performance.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to deal with large volumes of complex data.
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Experience working within automotive or advanced manufacturing desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
