Software Validation Engineer

NVIDIA Networking Division is looking for an excellent Verification and Validation System Product Engineer. The company offers market-leading solutions that include adapter cards, switches, cables, and software to support networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy
• Design, implement, and execute validation plans for the infrastructure system
• Write efficient, maintainable, and high-quality unit tests for new features and existing codebases
• Automate infrastructure testing processes to improve validation efficiency
• Identify potential bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and failure points within the infrastructure and recommend corrective actions
• Enhance validation efficiency through continuous monitoring and optimization
• Troubleshoot and streamline/optimize testing procedures

Requirements

• B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Computer Science/related field
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in Python programming
• Prior experience in Unit testing, with a proven understanding of testing tools and methodologies such as PyTest or other similar frameworks
• Experience in software verification or validation
• Strong technical abilities, problem-solving, design, coding, and debugging skills
• Great teammate with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
• Strong automation/scripting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Networking protocols and the Linux kernel
• Background with production manufacturing flows
• Worked with a manufacturing environment/facility
• Ability to lead feature development, take full ownership of tasks from A-Z, and deliver independently with minimum supervision
