Anduril is seeking a Communications Manager to support and execute communications efforts in Japan. This role is focused on strong day-to-day execution,developing content, supporting media engagement, and helping translate Anduril’s capabilities into clear, locally relevant messaging.
You will work closely with global communications, business development, and policy teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging in a key allied market. This role reports to the Director, APAC Communications.
Responsibilities
- Execute communications plans and campaigns in Japan
- Draft and localize press materials, statements, blog posts, and executive communications
- Support media outreach and maintain relationships with key journalists
- Prepare briefing materials and talking points for leadership engagements
- Monitor Japanese media and policy developments; provide summaries and insights
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support announcements and events
- Manage translation workflows and ensure accuracy and tone
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in communications, PR, or public affairs
- Fluency in Japanese and professional English (written and spoken)
- Strong writing and editing skills across both languages
- Familiarity with Japan’s media landscape
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technology, defense, or government-related communications
- Experience working with international teams
- Media relations experience in Japan
