Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan in San Antonio, TX. As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and families in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic patient care and support to patients and families
• Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with patient care tasks
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
