Description

We are looking for a Production Scheduler to join our rapidly growing team in Quonset, RI. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the flow of products through the production process. They will work on cutting-edge technology aimed at advancing the state-of-the-possible in subsea robotics.

The Production Scheduler will provide tactical scheduling and strategic long-range planning expertise to our production teams. They will coordinate, review, plan and schedule inputs from the business and planning to create an integrated master schedule. They will also utilize Foundry and other applications to ensure work is scheduled and prioritized accurately and efficiently, and resources allocated appropriately.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily work schedules, tracking work progress, updating project critical path schedules, and advising leadership of needed adjustments to daily work activities
  • Performing schedule baseline change control, collection and tracking performance, critical path analysis and variance analysis as required
  • Ensuring requisite production requirements are properly scheduled to facilitate an efficient production process
  • Scheduling production, operations planning, and engineering support to eliminate obstacles and deliver product on time
  • Working closely with our Production Coordinators to identify and clear production blockers
  • Coordinating support from other internal resources such as inspection, testing, engineering, and supply chain as needed to meet program deliverables
  • Leading efforts to uncover root-cause and develop permanent resolution on issues found during product builds as required
  • Identifying and supporting improvement opportunities for product yield, quality, safety, cost and team efficiency
  • Identifying process automation opportunities and driving organisational efficiency improvements
  • Organising and communicating the daily priorities to production coordinators, team leads and supervisors as required
  • Providing daily visibility, weekly status, and monthly reviews on schedule performance
  • Developing and analysing metrics that tie production to enterprise goals as required
  • Leading the creation of scheduling tools and initiatives in support of Anduril’s overall scheduling maturation
