Brazilian Portuguese Video Game Linguistic Testers

Join our multicultural team in Montreal as a Brazilian Portuguese Video Game Linguistic Tester.

We are looking for candidates who master Brazilian Portuguese to join our team of linguistic testers for video games.

Main Tasks:

• Correct texts and game content (spelling, syntax, typography).
• Verify text consistency and propose changes where necessary.
• Write error reports.
• Perform minor and simple translations.
• Check that subtitles match audio tracks.

Requirements:

• Mastery of Brazilian Portuguese (spoken and written).
• Mastery of written and spoken English; Please note that this position requires effective communication in English (written and oral). This requirement stems from the need to maintain constant communication with clients and teams located outside the province of Quebec.
• Reside in the Montreal area.
• Be available to work from home or in the office according to project requirements.
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, have a work permit or be in the process of obtaining a work permit.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks while managing time effectively.
• Be comfortable with digital technologies (computers, video game consoles, touch screens).
• Show interest in the video game industry.
• Have experience in a relevant field or related to video games (an asset).
• Have experience in a similar position (an asset).
