Description
As a Principal GPU simulation Software Engineer at Synopsys, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and developing next-generation Verilog simulation technologies with a focus on GPU acceleration. You will contribute to the evolution of a high-performance, large-scale Verilog simulator, ensuring industry-leading standards. Your expertise in C++ (modern standards preferred), Verilog/SystemVerilog, and digital simulation concepts will be essential in this role. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, performance, QA, and product management, to deliver integrated solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EDA tools and simulation platforms, as well as experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques. Knowledge of GPU architecture and parallel computing (CUDA, GPU memory models, threading) is a strong plus. You will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently on challenging projects and have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
