The Flight Software team at Anduril develops flight computer vehicle software for all airborne and subsea vehicles. As a Flight Software Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the software infrastructure to scale the flight software organization by orders of magnitude.

We are honored to be part of the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program for the Air Force's flagship autonomous aircraft program. During the next phase, Anduril will design, manufacture, and test production-representative CCAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enable order-of-magnitude increases in developer productivity through reusable software
- Pushing the boundaries of scalable embedded software development
- Creating packaging and distribution infrastructure at scale
- Develop abstraction layers for integrated vehicle control systems
- Create reusable HITL and SITL infrastructure
Core Requirements:
- Scaled from a small team to a large software organization
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Experience with software packaging and distribution systems (Nix, Bazel, etc)
- Background in embedded software architecture, design and development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc., or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
- Direct experience with DO-178 standards or similar certifications
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance

Salary: $166,000-$253,000 USD
