Description

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Product Specialist / Trader.

In this role, you will be responsible for advisory and daily executions of cross-assets structured products, provide daily runs, handle day-to-day pricing requests, and address after-sales inquiries of executed trades.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting cross-asset class flow and non-flow Structured Products price discoveries, order placements, and executions per Regulatory framework and desk procedures
  • Partnering with Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors to provide optimal pricing and customized solutions to clients
  • Providing SP ideas through proactive advisory services, including producing internal investment commentaries, weekly morning presentations on tactical SP ideas, marketing support, and training to RMs and ICs
  • Supporting marketing initiatives and working closely with counterparties to review and provide feedback on counterparties' product documents
  • Identifying new payoffs, expanding product shelf, onboarding new payoffs, and counterparties or ad-hoc projects
  • Coordinating with Operations and Technology teams to support settlement, implementation, and upgrade of SP trading platforms, desk's process streamlining, and automation projects

To be successful, you will need:

  • Experience in Structured Products / derivatives with advisory / structuring experience
  • Good multi-asset product knowledge (equities, rates, credit, commodities, funds, and hybrids)
  • Proven track record in sales and advisory in Structured Products
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex financial concepts and strategies in a simple form, as well as strong stakeholder management skills
  • Good understanding of suitability, risk, and compliance requirements for regulated roles
  • Strong knowledge in business computer applications
