Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Architect Artificial Intelligence to define and implement a new agentic hardware architecture. You will lead the AI-for-Architecture team within the Networking Architecture group, developing intelligent architecture flows across NIC and Switch architecture groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the roadmap for AI-driven architecture flows, including data collection, modelling, and micro-architecture agents.
- Collaborate with architects to address tough problems and develop agentic flows to shorten the time to a good solution.
- Partner with the AI engineering team to translate architecture workflows into production agents, MCP integrations, and eval harnesses.
- Act as the technical authority on AI architecture work, recognizing excellent architecture output and verifying AI-assisted flows.
- Drive adoption of tools and methods across the organization.
Requirements:
- B.A, M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years in hardware, firmware, or system architecture , NIC, switch, DPU, CPU, or SoC.
- Ability to understand and adopt agentic AI workflows and tools (Claude/Codex/Cursor).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of driving adoption of new tools or processes.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience applying LLMs, agents, or prompt-plus-code pipelines to real engineering work.
- Expertise with high-speed networking silicon , InfiniBand, Ethernet, switch fabric architecture, NIC/RDMA subsystems.
- Familiarity with LLMs: transformer architecture and LLM training/inference parallelism.
- Background defining and measuring engineering productivity metrics.
