Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Ocala Health Trauma. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Florida
• Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN in a hospital setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent
• Experience working in a trauma or critical care setting
• Certification in a specialty area, such as pediatrics or gerontology
