Description

We are looking for a Shopper Insights Specialist to help us realise our ambitions. As a Shopper Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for generating in-depth insights, both quantitatively and qualitatively, focusing on consumer buying behaviour to support strategic decisions.

You will translate complex data from various sources into concrete advice and present it to stakeholders in an engaging way. Your insights will not only support daily commercial activities but also contribute to our long-term growth.

You have extensive experience in consumer research and are analytically sharp with a strong knowledge of shopper behaviour. You are commercially oriented and thrive in a dynamic organisation like Red Bull.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead with insights: Use and analyse existing data sources and shopper data to create both internal and external insights to optimise strategies and decision-making.
  • Pro-active data gathering: Identify potential knowledge gaps within the organisation and work with existing and new partners to conduct high-quality qualitative and quantitative research projects.
  • Ownership & project management: Work independently within cross-functional project teams and take the initiative to solve complex, data-heavy questions. Structure and prioritise your tasks, tools, and processes in a way that allows for successful project management.

Requirements:

  • HBO or WO degree, preferably in a relevant field such as business economics, economics, marketing, or data analysis.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in an analytical role, such as an Insights analyst or consultant in FMCG or as a category manager.
  • Experience with FMCG and/or working with shopper data and loyalty card data is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical thinking with a solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to lead projects from start to finish and inspire and develop colleagues.
  • Extensive experience with tools such as Excel, Power BI, and qualitative research methods. Experience with Nielsen, Circana, and SQL is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and commercially oriented with a growth mindset and the courage to question the status quo.
  • Structured and able to clearly and persuasively present complex issues in both spoken and written form (within set deadlines).

Working from here:

  • Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands
