Therapy Aide - Therapy

Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Therapy Aide to join our team!

The Physical Therapy Aide is a non-licensed worker who has completed the job training and works under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist and carry out patient care to pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements

• Knowledge of patient care standards and practices in a physical therapy setting normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous applicable experience beneficial
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
