Electrical Systems Design Engineer

As an Electrical Systems Design Engineer at AVL Italia S.p.A., you will be responsible for the electrical design of industrial plants, special systems, and dedicated machinery for engine and vehicle testing systems.

Your responsibilities include:

• Electrical design of industrial plants, special systems, and machinery for testing systems
• Preparation of technical design reports
• Drafting of technical specifications and tender documentation
• Preparation of cost estimates and bills of quantities
• Development of single-line electrical diagrams
• Creation of plant layouts and installation drawings
• Execution of electrical calculations and system sizing
• Performing lighting calculations
• Ensuring compliance with applicable technical and safety standards and regulations

You have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Diploma in Electrotechnics
• At least 3 years of experience in the design of industrial electrical systems
• Good command of English, both written and spoken (minimum B1 level)
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of the main regulations and standards related to electrical systems, safety, and applicable Directives (Low Voltage, EMC, Machinery, and ATEX)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented mindset, proactive attitude, operational autonomy, and strong problem-solving skills
