Description

As a Geo Hunter Account Executive in the Sports segment at Databricks, you will be responsible for selling Data & AI to sports teams and organizations. Your goal will be to penetrate accounts quickly and demonstrate the value of our products to customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Closing new customers and growing consumption
  • Communicating account strategy to Databricks Senior Leadership on a regular basis
  • Allocating Databricks resources to break into new accounts
  • Meeting with C-Level Executives to Practitioner level to understand how Databricks can make an impact on business outcomes
  • Exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue targets

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a passion for selling a highly technical product in the cloud, as well as 4+ years of experience with Open Source Technologies and build vs buy decision-making.

In addition, you will need to have a creative salesperson with a well-defined prospecting motion, sales experience within big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales, and proven years of experience exceeding sales quotas.
