Damper Technician

We are seeking a skilled Damper Technician to join our team at Multimatic in Thetford, Norfolk.

As a Damper Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our damper units. You will be responsible for:

• Adhering to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
• Performing mechanical and hydraulic assembly of automotive components
• Preparing products and valve components for dyno testing
• Conducting dyno tests on damper units to ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Analysing dyno reports and identifying faults
• Reworking damper units that do not meet customer or quality assurance specifications
• Completing paperwork in accordance with QA and project administration requirements
• Assisting in maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Participating in R&D activities as required
• Supporting company and department activities to meet goals and objectives
• Adopting and practising Kaizen principles and participating in continuous improvement activities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Engineering certification or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of MS Windows
• Basic mechanical assembly experience
• Ability to read, write and speak English
