Description
Electronic Arts is seeking an Advanced Data Analyst to join the FC Data & Analytics team, focusing on forecasting and performance modelling for FC's live service business. The successful candidate will report to a Senior Analytics Manager and be part of a growing team providing data and insights around player behaviour and live content performance within the FC franchise.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the forecasting framework for FC's live service business
- Employ financial modelling techniques, time series analysis, and knowledge of their use cases
- Create a robust model projecting live service funnel metrics, incorporating player behaviour, in-game content, and macroeconomic trends
- Collaborate with partners across Product Management, Finance, and Commercial teams to align on projections
- Establish scalable forecasting processes and lead presentations to diverse audiences
- Run risk and opportunity scenarios based on live content plans and mentor other analysts
Requirements:
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or similar)
- 7+ years of experience in a data-driven role performing quantitative analysis
- 4+ years of experience developing financial/product performance projections and forecasts
- Strong experience in statistical and/or time series modelling for predictive purposes
- Expertise in SQL and working with large-scale, complex datasets
- Proficient in analyzing large datasets using programmatic tools (e.g., Python, R)
- Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
- Strong capabilities in project management processes
- Comfortable presenting analysis in an executive-facing environment
The compensation package includes:
- Salary range: $114,300 - $156,200 CAD (depending on location)
